Holding the Light Service

In 2022, I have represented Melbourne Diocese Mothers’ Union on the Ecumenical Committee preparing for the annual “Holding the Light” Service to be held at St Peter’s Eastern Hill Church , 15 Gisborne Street, East Melbourne on Sunday 27th November 2022 at 2.30pm.
This Service is held annually to remember victims and survivors of family and domestic violence.
MU Melbourne is providing and hosting the afternoon tea once again, which follows the Service.
This year the focus is on “A young man’s story.” This segment will take the form of a “fire side chat” between “Michelle and Liam” mother and son. Pseudonyms will be used to protect the son’s privacy.
All are welcome to attend.
